We never write often enough that one must be patient with red Burgundies, and this is particularly true of the C\u00f4te de Beaune. Unfortunately, recent vintages have been affected by strong hailstorms that hit a large part of the crop. This makes these wines even more precious.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Domaine Francois Carillon<\/strong><\/strong>: heir to\u00a0the Domaine Louis Carillon, Francois continues to strive for excellence, while further enhancing the purity of his Puligny-Montrachet wines.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Domaine Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey<\/strong><\/strong>: Pierre-Yves Colin regularly crafts concentrated, exemplary\u00a0wines\u00a0that taste as good young as old. These have become references in\u00a0Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet and\u00a0Meursault.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Domaine Comte Armand<\/strong><\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">: this institution has a monopoly on Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Epeneaux. The wines produced here are distinguished by their righteousness, power and complexity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Domaine des Comtes Lafon<\/strong>: for generations, the vines here are grown carefully. Dominique Lafon and his team reveal the different terroirs of Meursault with a goldsmith\u2019s precision.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Domaine Michel et Joanna Ecard: <\/strong><\/strong>Michel grows the best terroirs of Savigny-les-Beaune with a unique style that values fruity character and drinking pleasure. Another view\u00a0of Burgundy.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><strong>Domaine Hubert Lamy<\/strong><\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">: wizard of Saint-Aubin, Olivier Lamy produces handcrafted wines of very high level, which often overshadow their prestigious neighbors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Domaine Vincent Leflaive<\/strong>: pioneer of biodynamics in Burgundy, the winery produces alive and vibrant Chardonnays, which, if properly cellared, are among the world\u2019s finest white wines.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Maison and Domaine Leroy<\/strong>: Lalou Bize-Leroy has set the bar very high in terms of vine-growing methods. Her philosophy and accuracy are acclaimed worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Domaine Roulot<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">: the quest for finesse and balance always strikes when tasting Roulot\u2019s wines. The range of this exclusive address has an unrivaled regularity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Maison Etienne Sauzet<\/strong>: this estate with a glorious past continues to produce fine and concentrated Puligny-Montrachet.
